Hi! I am Masha.
Welcome to my studio "Painting
with Masha".
I give private lessons to children ages 5 and up. No previous experience is needed to start my lessons, and all students succeed if they love ART and ready to work hard.

I am also teaching Fine Arts classes in High School Program at the Independence Adult Center in San Jose. Three semesters have passed, and my students never failed to surprise me with their talents. I am planning to add their artwork to the "art" page
later, come again to see it.

More about me
I was born in Moscow, Russia to a family of artists. My dear father, Felix Borisov, was the greatest inspiration to me.
In 1984 I graduated from Moscow Textile Academy with Masters Degree in Fine Arts. I got my first teaching job in 1977 when I worked as an art instructor at a summer camp.
In 1991, Moscow public school #963 offered me a teaching position, and it was the best job I've ever had.
I had to leave my wonderful students when immigrated to USA.
I came to Boston, MA on May 16 of 1995 with my mother and my son Matvey, who was 12 at that time.
On August 8, 1999, my second son, Gregory, was born.
In November of 2002, my family moved to San Jose, CA.
In January of 2008 I received CA Teaching credential from San Jose State University.
